Privacy Policy

• Account information: name, email address, and password (or sign-in via Google/Apple) used to create and secure your account.
• Invoices and receipts: photos or PDFs you upload, and the product name, price, purchase date, store and warranty period our AI extracts from them.
• Asset and reminder data: the items you register, their expiry dates, and the reminder preferences you set.
• Device permissions: camera and photo library access (to scan invoices), and notification permission (to send reminders). Each is requested only when needed and can be withdrawn in your device settings.
• Usage data: app interactions, crash logs and device/OS type, used to keep the App reliable and improve it.

• To extract and organize invoice data using AI/OCR processing, so your assets and warranty dates are tracked automatically.
• To send you warranty, bill and reminder notifications by push and/or email, based on your settings.
• To operate, maintain and secure your account and the asset vault.
• To respond to support requests and improve app performance and reliability.
• We do not use your invoice content or personal data for advertising, and we do not sell your data.

Scanned invoices are processed by AI/OCR services (including third-party AI providers) solely to extract structured data (product, price, date, warranty terms). We use trusted infrastructure providers for hosting, storage, crash reporting and push notifications. These providers process data only on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations — they do not use your data for their own purposes.

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to systems and personnel that need it to operate the App. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we follow industry-standard practices to protect your information. For users in India, we process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual assets or invoices at any time within the App. You can request full account and data deletion from Settings > Account > Delete Account, or by emailing us — we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. If we terminate your account for violating our Terms & Conditions, the same 30-day deletion timeline applies.

• Export your asset and invoice data at any time from Settings.
• Turn off push or email reminders, or disable camera/photo access, in your device settings.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

RemyndOwl is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email before they take effect.
